The Beginning…
December 5th is a little studio, right in the heart of Georgia.
As a child through my teenage years, I worked in my dad's cabinet shop. This is is where my love for creativity began. Fast forward 10+ years, I have moved further north, married and I am no where near the shop. Unfortunately, I can't run next door when I want to create something. So what's a girl to do....find a hobby right?
A little over 8 years ago, I purchased a Cricut machine, thus opening this chapter. At first I started monogramming items for myself. (Everyone knows that you're not a true belle unless you own at least ONE monogrammed item) Eventually, I started making items for my friends, their families, co-workers, businesses, schools, wedding event's, etc....
What started out as a hobby soon became so much more & I absolutely love it! I love creating items for those I know and those I don't. It's my way of reaching people all over the United States (yes, I ship)!
Once married, I wanted to open an online store rebranding what I'd previously created. I wanted something unique & special to me...something that would stick. I decided to go with the name, December 5th...it's the date I married my honey!
